~ Consultation with a Dog Listener ~

People spend a lot of their hard earned money on their dogs. Pedigree puppy or old rescue dog
of indeterminate parentage, people love their dogs. Having invested a lot of time and money
into your dog what do you do if he has problems that you can't resolve?

When you call a Dog Listener they will quote a one off price at the time of your enquiry.
After the consultation, your Dog Listener will provide you with back-up and support as negotiated.

The consultation, which usually takes approximately 2-4 hours, takes place in your own home
where both you and your dog are relaxed and where your dog exhibits its most natural behaviour.

The Dog Listener will encourage all members of the family to be present along with anyone else
who regularly interacts with your dog. i.e. dog walkers, carers, or the next door neighbour who may
come in to check on your dog during the day.

A Dog Listener can help you to understand why your dog:

Jumps up on family members or visitors
Becomes destructive when left alone
Pulls on the lead
Acts aggressively towards animals or people
Is overly timid or nervous
Barks excessively
Displays undesirable behaviour

Once you understand how your dog is thinking the Dog Listener will explain and show
you how to implement the method in your home environment.

By using your own behaviour to calmly display strong leadership signals in everyday
situations your dog will learn to trust you and will elect you as the pack's decision maker
of its own free will. Valuable to any dog owner, Dog Listening provides an opportunity to
gain a complete understanding of the dog and its actions, to be equipped in any situation,
to respond in a way that the dog understands. Dog Listening will allow your dog to become
the calm, content and happy family member he has always wanted to be.
